A VICTORIAN STATE TURNOUT WITH ROYAL LANDAU NO. 9

This was a special day as it was the first time The ‘Fluted’ harness had been put together after 15 years of restoration, together with new liveries, new horses and a new hammercloth on the No. 9 State Landau.  It was all how it would have been when Queen Victoria reviewed all the State Laudaus.  When we did it, it was a foggy day and it was really moving as it was the last time we all saw the Duke of Edinburgh and the HM the Late Queen together enjoying their Royal horses and all the turnouts we showed them that day.

This was a special day as we went all out competing at Merrist Wood Indoor Driving event just before Christmas and the pony went so well!  Lady Louise was driving one of the Fells and afterwards, the Royal family loved showing everyone the photos of their granddaughter really having a great time.
